Sprague School & Half Day School
School is off to a cold start!
Our Half Day students will need you this winter. Please take a moment to look at your schedule to see if you can spare an hour to supervise Indoor Recess. It's one of our easiest volunteer shifts available, and truly benefits both our kids and our teachers.

Author Visit: Barbara Rosenstock
Barbara Rosenstock (barbrosenstock.com), an award winning local author from Libertyville, will be visiting Half Day School on January 22, 2015. If you would like your child to receive an authographed book by Mrs. Rosenstock, you can place an order through RevTrack Webstore. Orders will be taken through January 15, 2015.

5th Grade Colonial Days
Colonial Day is coming to DW on Tuesday, 2/3. 5th grade students will have the opportunity to learn about the Early American colonies, their people, and contributions through a one-day, hands-on extravaganza known as Colonial Day! Wednesday Pizza Lunch - Deadline Extended!
Current lunch session ended on Wednesday, January 14th! Online PTO-Store Orders are extended to Friday, January 23. Order by this Friday, January 23 to begin getting pizza on Wednesday, January 28th. New lunch session started Wednesday, January 21st and runs until Wednesday, May 27th.

What a fantastic response we have had for the DW Front Office Volunteering as it has been a win-win for both the parent community and the school! Our new schedule is available for volunteering during the Winter semester. Social Dance Lessons
Social Dance lessons began last Friday, January 09 at 8 p.m. – 9:15 p.m. in the Daniel Wright Cafeteria. The first night was a huge success, with over 80 participants! The Dance Lessons include instruction on the Cha Cha, Electric Slide, Fox Trot and others. If you missed the deadline, don't worry - there is still time to join. Extra for Extracurricular
The PTO is proud to announce "Extra for Extracurricular", a Grant Program specifically geared towards helping our school community enhance extracurricular endeavors. Grant requests may be made by any D103 Staff, Administration, Parent, and/or staff-sponsored Student. Grant requests can be made via the electronic form, and will be reviewed as they are submitted.
