Congratulations Volunteers of the Year!

This year, the D103 community showed up for this award in a big way with 36 individuals telling the committee why a PTO member deserved to be awarded the Volunteer of the Year.

The nominations spanned the full spectrum of what volunteering looks like here at D103. When the committee got together and discussed everything that was submitted, two themes kept coming up again and again. One was energy and the other was reliability.

As the group of nominees that best exemplify these two themes got smaller, it became increasingly difficult to come to a consensus. The award committee struck an impasse and couldn't agree on a single winner. So they didn't.

This year, the PTO is proud to present the Volunteer of the Year Award to two remarkable women. Please join me in recognizing Gayle Rizzuto and Marybeth Lockwood.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR T6AM FINISH LINE

Let's celebrate the last days of school together with our 6th graders!

On Monday, June 1st, PTO is sponsoring T6AM Finish Line - an afternoon of fun-filled games and activities just for 6th grade students on the Daniel Wright fields. There will be sports, activities, games and much more! 

Come and help supervise one of the games!  No pre-planning required - we'll have it all ready to go when you get there!
